Cigars are a slow product in a fast world. A good one is something you sit with, and it rewards a little care before and after you light it. Most bad cigar experiences we hear about come from a dried-out cigar, a rough cut, or a flame that scorched the foot.
We carry cigars and cigarillos, from a single for the drive home to a pack for the weekend. Both are tobacco products for adults 21 and over, and we check ID on every sale.
If you are new, we would point you toward a mild cigar in a smaller size. You can always move up to something bolder once you know what you like.

Cigars run from mild to full. Wrapper color is a rough hint, with lighter wrappers often milder, but it is not a rule. Ask us how a cigar smokes before you judge it by color.
A short, thin cigar might take 20 to 30 minutes. A long, thick one can take well over an hour. Pick a size that fits the time you actually have.
Cigarillos are smaller, quicker and often flavored. Cigars are bigger and meant to be smoked slowly. If you only have a few minutes, a cigarillo makes more sense.
Some cigarillos come with a plastic or wood tip, which some people like for the feel. Untipped ones are closer to a traditional cigar.
A healthy cigar feels firm with a little give. It should not crackle when you gently squeeze it or feel spongy. Look for an even wrapper with no cracks.
Cut just above the line where the cap meets the wrapper. Go deeper and the wrapper can unravel.
Toast the foot first. Hold it just above the flame and rotate until the edge glows evenly, then draw gently.
A puff every 30 to 60 seconds keeps a cigar lit without overheating it. Rush it and it turns bitter.
Cigars need steady humidity. A fridge dries them out and a hot car ruins them.
A firm ash helps a cigar burn cooler. Let it get long, then roll it off gently against the ashtray.
We like it when people tell us what the cigar is for. A cigar for a celebration, one for a long porch evening and a quick one on a break are three different picks. Tell us the occasion and how much time you have, and we will steer you.
We will be honest when a cigar is more than you need. A first timer does not need the boldest one in the store. Start mild, enjoy it, and work your way up.
Do not forget a lighter. We keep them at the counter. A torch flame makes toasting the foot quick, and a soft flame works too if you are patient.
We are open every day from 10 AM to midnight, a quick drive from Oklahoma City, Midwest City and Valley Brook, with a lot right on site for parking.
Cigars do best around 65 to 70 percent humidity at room temperature. A humidor is the long-term answer. For a few days to a couple of weeks, a sealed bag with a two-way humidity pack does the job.
Cigarillos in a foil pouch stay fresh until the pouch is opened. After that, smoke them within a few days or seal the pouch tight.

Cigars for every budget. Here is what our budtenders tell people.
New to cigars? Start mild. You can always go fuller next time.
Lighter wrappers taste milder. Darker ones taste richer and stronger.
Tell us who it is for and what they like. We will pick a good one.
Short on time? Cigarillos and minis are made for a quick break.
A mild cigar in a smaller size. It is easier to finish and lets you learn what you like before you try anything bold. Ask at the counter and we will point you to one.
Cut the rounded cap just above the line where it meets the wrapper. A quick, clean cut works better than a slow one. You only need to open enough for an easy draw.
For short-term storage, use a sealed plastic bag or container with a two-way humidity pack, kept at room temperature. Keep it out of the fridge and the car.
Anywhere from about 20 minutes for a small cigar to well over an hour for a large one. Cigarillos are quicker still.
